Tried and tested…

Never thought I’d say this…but…I seem to have too much tackle and not enough time. Having recently obtained a Shimano Beastmaster (as in last post), I have been dying to go and have a play with it. Well Wednesday started of okay, some wind but nothing too daunting. So I took the rod down to Scousburgh Sands for a test blast or three. I didn’t really expect to catch anything but decided to cast with baited rigs anyway to get a feel for how the rod would behave when properly loaded.
