Excellent! Got a call from my buddy earlier today, and he suggested going on a nice little roadtrip. Very exciting, as we will head out at around 0800hrs to try and tempt the odd pollock with a spinner. After that it’s back on the road, stopping at any lochs that cross our path to hopefully add a nice juicy brown trout. Then carry on motoring towards one of our usual haunts, where the coalfish and flounders usually come in thick and fast, with the occasional cod thrown in for good measure. Or so I’ve heard, not actually managed to catch one of those crafty gits yet!
So I shall let you folks all know how that went…if I’m not too busy gutting fish. I do release most of what I catch but the missus get’s all upset if I don’t provide the odd fish for the table.
