Fiendishly good.

2 04 2009

Hello all my fellow fishermen/women, and you who got lost and landed (don’t worry I won’t make too many fishing jokes) here by accident.

This is really just an introduction, most of what you’d want to know about me and what this is all about, can be found in: Fish, About, Tackle or Trips. So I won’t go into any of those details just now.

It’s Thursday night, and as usual the fish bug has well and truly bitten, and I need my fix. Unfortunately I can’t go tonight or tomorrow, so I’ll check the weather forecast for the weekend and hopefully manage a trip then. I say weather forecast, but really I don’t care what the weather is like. But if it’s a bit rubbish I know my usual buddy wouldn’t really want to go. Not that I need my hand held, I just enjoy fishing even more when I do it with a friend.

Okay, have just consulted the oracle in regards to the weekend weather. And I think it should be alright, some rain and some strong southern winds, but periods where there will be neither. Good enough for me.

Now comes the tricky question…What fish to target? Am seriously considering aiming for sea trout, but would most likely be casting into a strong headwind. Not my favourite! Will have to wait and see, if the wind is too strong I’ll probably end up trying for some coalfish and flounders. Either way I will let you guys know how it goes.

So until next time…tight lines!
